Cold Hands, Warm Hearts

Cold Hands, Warm Hearts

We're having brutally cold temperatures here in Colorado this week. Today is a high of 1° F! At least the cold is paired with a fluffy, powdery snow that's been falling off and on for a few hours. Our poor dog loves the snow but hates the cold, so he's feeling torn about the weather, but the seven year olds have no qualms - they're out of school today and loving every minute of the freedom. We all had hot chocolate for breakfast. Delish!

Speaking of hot chocolate, what's your favorite? When I was in England doing research for Love on Paper, I got hooked on Cadbury Drinking Chocolate. It's amazing but hard to find over here. A nice US-based option is Sillycow Farm's Chocolate Moo-usse. Over Christmas one night, my mom and I made our own hot chocolate mix and it was really yummy. I've included it here if you want to try it.

Stay warm, wherever you are!
